1. Who we are. Goldcas S.A.S., tax ID 901.226.549-0, domiciled in Bucaramanga, Colombia ("Goldcas"), provides remote equipment monitoring, alarms, reporting, electronics repair and engineering solution development services.
2. The monitoring service. It is provided on a prepaid subscription basis (monthly, quarterly or annual) per monitored unit. The service activates automatically once payment is confirmed and is suspended when the subscription expires without renewal. Published prices include the platform, the application, the alarms and the history.
3. Scope and limits. Goldcas monitors and notifies; the physical control and maintenance of the equipment is the client's responsibility. Alarms depend on conditions outside our full control (mains power, on-site internet, telephone networks), so the service is a support layer for operations and does not replace the client's own checks or regulatory obligations.
4. Equipment and modules. Connection modules installed by Goldcas or purchased by the client run Goldcas firmware. The client agrees not to tamper with, copy or redistribute that firmware. When the client buys the module from a third party (for example, on AliExpress or another store), that purchase is between the client and the seller: Goldcas only suggests a compatible model and is not responsible for its shipping, quality, warranty, returns or customs procedures. Choosing the version with or without an external antenna depends on the installation site and is the client's decision.
5. Payments. Payments are processed through authorized payment gateways (ePayco). Goldcas does not store card data or banking credentials.
6. Termination. The client may choose not to renew at any time; the historical data of their equipment is kept for a reasonable period after suspension, during which they may request an export by writing to soporte@goldcas.net.
7. Workshop repairs. Diagnostics and repairs of electronic boards are quoted case by case. The warranty on a repair covers the work performed and the components replaced, not new or pre-existing failures of other components.
8. Changes. Goldcas may update these terms; the version in force will always be published on this page.

Data we process. (a) Contact details of clients and prospects: name, email, phone, company. (b) Technical data from the monitored equipment: temperatures, states, events and the location of the installation site. (c) Contact details of the people the client designates to receive alarms (name, phone, role).
Purposes. Providing the contracted services (monitoring, alarms, escalation calls, reports), managing billing and the commercial relationship, handling support requests, and sending information about our services when the data subject has authorized it.
Rights of the data subject. To access, update, correct and delete their data; to request proof of the authorization; to revoke the authorization where no legal or contractual duty prevents it; and to file complaints with the Colombian Superintendency of Industry and Commerce.
How to exercise them. By writing to soporte@goldcas.net with the request. We answer enquiries within ten (10) business days and claims within fifteen (15) business days, as required by law.
Security and retention. Data is stored on cloud infrastructure with restricted access and encryption in transit. It is kept while the commercial relationship lasts and for the periods required by legal and accounting obligations.
Transfers. We use infrastructure and communications providers (cloud, payment gateway, telephony) that act as data processors under these same principles. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
